How we use your personal information
Depending on how you interact with us or which Services you use, we may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide, personalize and improve the Services. We use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending promotional, advertising and marketing communications by email, text message or postal mail, and displaying online advertising for products or services, both on the Services and on other websites, including based on items you have purchased, added to your cart or other activity on the Services.

We use your personal information to authenticate your account, provide a secure shopping and payment experience, detect, investigate or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe or malicious activity, protect public safety and secure our Services. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. How we share your personal information
In certain circumstances, we may share your personal information with third parties for legitimate purposes, as set out in this Privacy Policy. These circumstances include:
- With Shopify, manufacturers, suppliers, fulfilment partners and other vendors who perform services on our behalf (such as IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, order fulfilment and shipping).
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing and advertising services to you. For example, we use Shopify to support personalized advertising with third-party services, based on your online activity across different merchants and websites. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us not to share your information for personalized advertising and marketing based on your online activity across different websites and merchants. You can opt out of the use of your data for these purposes here.
- When you direct, request or otherwise consent to our sharing certain information with third parties, such as to ship you products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations.
- With our affiliates or other companies within our corporate group.
- In connection with business transactions, such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with applicable legal obligations (including responding to subpoenas, search warrants and similar requests), to enforce applicable terms of service or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights and the rights of our users or others.
International orders and fulfilment
Our products are shipped by our international fulfilment partner. To deliver your order, we share the shipping information you provide at checkout — including your name, delivery address, phone number and order details — with that partner and with the carriers responsible for delivery. Where required, this information may also be shared with customs authorities in the destination country. Your payment card details are never shared with our fulfilment partner.
Our relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. In addition, to help protect, grow and improve our business, we use certain advanced Shopify features that incorporate data and information from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify itself. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may use personal information collected about your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. In these cases, Shopify is responsible for the processing of that personal information, including responding to your requests to exercise your rights over the use of that information for these purposes. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and what rights you may have, please see Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you may be able to exercise certain rights regarding your personal information here.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on the Services. These technologies help the site function, remember your cart and preferences, measure how the Services are used, and support advertising. Some are strictly necessary for the Services to work, while others are optional. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect how the Services function. Depending on where you live, you may be able to manage your preferences through the cookie banner presented when you first visit the site.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may contain links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated with or controlled by us, we encourage you to review their privacy and security policies and their terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of such sites, including the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the information they make available. Information you share in public or semi-public spaces, such as third-party social networks, may also be viewable by other users of the Services and those platforms, without any limitation on use by us or third parties. The inclusion of such links on the Services does not by itself imply any endorsement of the content on those platforms or of their owners and operators, except as disclosed on the Services.
Children's information
The Services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children as defined by applicable law in your jurisdiction. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child who has provided personal information to us, you may contact us using the details below to request its deletion. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined under applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Security and retention of your information
While we take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security". In addition, information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. For this reason, we recommend that you do not send sensitive or confidential information through unsecured channels.
How long we retain your personal information depends on a number of factors, including the need to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce applicable contracts and policies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in some cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.
- Right to access / know. You may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to delete. You may have the right to request that we delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct. You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to portability. You may have the right to receive a copy of your personal information and to request that it be transferred to a third party, in certain circumstances and with some exceptions.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and the right to object to the use of your information for what is considered "targeted advertising" under applicable privacy laws. You can opt out of the use of your data for these purposes here. If you visit our site with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, and depending on where you live, we will treat this as a request to opt out for the device and browser used to visit the site. If we can associate that device with a Shopify account, we will apply the request to the account as well. To learn more about the Global Privacy Control, visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. Other than the Global Privacy Control, we do not currently recognize other "Do Not Track" signals that may be sent by your browser or device.
- Managing communication preferences. We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out of these at any time using the unsubscribe option in the emails themselves. If you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as notifications about your account or your orders.
If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law, which may vary by country and are subject to certain exceptions and limitations.
- Right to object to or restrict processing. You may have the right to ask us to stop or limit our use of your personal information for certain purposes.
- Withdrawal of consent. Where our use of your information relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- Legal bases. We process your personal information where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, where we have a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights, where we have your consent, and where we are required to do so to comply with a legal obligation.
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it and the categories of third parties with whom we share it, as described above. You may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
If you are located in Australia, your personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to and correction of the personal information we hold about you, and you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe your privacy has been breached.
If you are located in Canada, your personal information is handled in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You may withdraw your consent to certain uses of your information at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
You may exercise any of these rights directly through the Services, where available, or by contacting us using the details below. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and what rights you may have, including in relation to processing carried out by Shopify, please visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, as permitted or required by applicable law. In accordance with applicable law, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require proof that the agent has been authorized to act on your behalf, and we may also ask you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law.
